Edison Girls 4x200m Relay: a #2 finish at
the State Meet, a new school record, & a brand new Section V Record
all in one race!!!!
The Edison Tech Girls 4x200m relay
of Tanisha Love, Demonica Stanley, Nyasiah Mercado, & Billie Carroll
finshed #2 overall at the NYSPHSAA State & Federation Championships
on March 3, 2012 at Cornell University. The girls ran a time of 1:44.42
which was not only a brand new school record, but also a brand new Section
V Record, a 26 year old record, previously held by East High.
Congratulations to the girls & all of their hard work! The
question of the day is, how long will the record last? Can they break
the record again at Nationals at the Armory in New York City? Stay tuned
